FAQs

1. Can your order be sent internationally?

Yes, yes and yes! We send orders all over the world, door to door, with DHL courier. 

Please note that you may be liable for any customs and import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Customs policies vary widely from state to state and country to country.

Therefore we suggest that you check the requirements in your country before placing an order. We will not be liable for any custom or import duties.


2. Your order has been confirmed by an automated Shopify order confirmation email...What now?

This means we received your order on our system and will start processing it!

Didn't receive a confirmation email? If our confirmation mail hasn't landed in your junk mail by mistake, please do get in touch with us to confirm receipt of your order - hello@annarosholt.com.

Please allow for 10-15 working days for manufacturing of your order.

We endeavour to process all orders as quickly as possible, and should your purchased piece be in stock, we will dispatch as soon as we are able. Please note though that all online purchases should be treated as ‘made to order,’ so please allow 10 to 15 working days for processing and manufacturing. Once processed and manufactured, your order will be shipped.


3. You placed your order, but you paid via EFT and it hasn't cleared yet.

Once we have received valid Proof of Payment, we wait for your payment to clear in our bank account before it can be processed and dispatched. Transfers between different banks usually take between 2 and 5 working days. You will receive a confirmation email when your payment has cleared.


4. You placed an order for solid 9k Gold pieces which are made-to-order.

9k solid gold pieces take us between 10 and 15 days to manufacture if they are not held in stock. For each 9k piece which is made-to-order, there is a CLEAR indication of this on its product page, looking like this:
 

5. You received shipping confirmation & tracking details. When can you expect delivery once your order has been dispatched from our studio?

 
🍇 If you are based in Cape Town: Today or Tomorrow. (Weekends excluded)
🌞 If you are in a National City Centre: Within 1 - 2 working days.
🍒 If you are in a small town or regional area/ farm/ rural location: Within 3 - 5 days.

✈️  INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY TAKES 7 to 15 DAYS.

Upon dispatch, you will be sent confirmation and tracking details that you can use to keep an eye on your parcel.

We only ship orders Monday to Friday, during office hours, and do not operate on public holidays.

Once an order has been confirmed and payment accepted, and order shipped, it is in the hands of our courier partners. We are not liable for any errors made by these services.

Once you have received your parcel, please open it with care. We are not liable for any items damaged during the opening of your parcel. Any guarantees or representations made as to delivery times are subject to any delays resulting from postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible.

6. Hoops - what you need to know!

Our hollow 9k Gold and Sterling Silver Hoops are manufactured in a small factory in Italy. Sadly, we cannot repair them if they break - please do wear them with care. 

- Please make sure your hoops are securely fastened every time you wear your hoops, with the arm locking between the clips. The small clips may widen as a normal result of regular wear. We recommend having the clips assessed, as soon as they feel too loose, so that we can tighten them for you. This can easily be done by any professional jeweller near you if you are unable to visit our studio.

- We ask that you keep your hoops in a protected box when you are not using them. They are hollow which means they are easily damaged when not taken of. We will not be held responsible for the mistreatment of your hoops. 

- Hoops are sold in pairs but if you have misplaced a single hoop we can still help you out :) Please email hello@annarosholt.com to organise your replacement purchase. 


7. Natural Pearls & Stones

Natural components like Baroque Pearls, Coral, Opal, Malachite, Lapis Lazuli and Green Onyx used in our collections are 100% organic and genuine.
Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals and rough activity, as these stones are fragile and sensitive to erosive materials. 

Their shapes and hues reflect the way they were formed by nature and each and every one is completely unique. Our Tropical Safari Collection embraces irregularity and we cannot guarantee that you will receive charms that are completely uniform in size and colour or free of natural discolouration/crystallisation/variation.

We cannot be held responsible for the loss of any charms or damage to natural components once they have left our studio.

We will gladly exchange any charms for replacements that suit your preference, if they are unused/unworn and in their original condition or packaging.

Courier fees will be the responsibilty of the customer.

 

8. How do I keep my jewels looking fresh and fabulous?

Silver and Brass jewellery pieces tarnish over time due to oxidation in the air, and general dirt and dust. The best way to keep your jewellery looking shiny and new is to wear it! 

Brass jewellery is more sensitive to tarnishing than Silver jewellery, and as such all of our Brass pieces are delivered to you with a small polishing cloth which you can use to shine the surface. In addition to this you can use Brasso too!

All jewellery can be cleaned using a soft toothbrush in warm soapy water. Dry with a soft cloth.

If at home methods are doing the trick, please get in touch with us and we will happily polish your jewels for you at our studio :)
