Ingwe, the native isiZulu and isiXhosa name for a leopard, was the inspiration for our fiercest jewellery collection to date. The Ingwe Collection was born out of our love for the ultimate feline spirit animal and all things leopard print.
Spotted with Meaning
For centuries, leopard skins have been worn by African Kings and warriors as a symbol of courage, power, and social standing.
But forget the Kings, this collection is all about the Queens. We want the women who stack and style the Ingwe collection to be reminded that they are ferocious, mysterious, magical, and most importantly – more powerful than they know.
Reimagining the Ingwe Collection
We decided that our most-loved Marquise Garnet Studs and Marquise Garnet Ring needed a fresh new look.
Anna has reimagined these classics with a refined setting on the studs and an intricately detailed band update for the ring. These tiny changes complement the elegant marquise-cut gemstones and introduce lab-grown diamonds for an extra special feel.
New Ingwe Statement Earrings
We are thrilled to introduce two new sets of earrings to the Ingwe Collection.
The Mama Ingwe Earrings were originally designed to be worn by Anna at her wedding. And they’re finally available to be worn and loved by you. These exquisite statement drops feature an enlarged Ingwe Face, Pear Shaped Rhodolite Garnets, Cushion Cut Citrines, and our signature Wonky Pearl.
The Ingwe Fuschia Agate and Mango Jade Earrings are the perfect pair for those who like to walk on the wild side. They’re bold and beautiful for special occasions but also bring the fruity playfulness of one of our favourite hoop charm combinations.
We’re so excited about these new pieces. Ingwe was Anna’s wedding motif and was spotted throughout the ceremony. We love the idea of a bride wearing the Mama Ingwe Earrings while her bridesmaids wear the Ingwe Fuschia Agate and Mango Jade Earrings.
